Judith Obure was elected to as a board member in the year 2021. Judith is a Financial Reporting Officer at Communications Authority of Kenya (CA). She holds a Master of Public Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management (Banking and Finance) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Tax Administration. In addition, she is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Judith Obure is a high-performing Finance and Accounting professional with over 14 years’ experience supporting and delivering results in both private and public sector in Kenya. Before joining CA, Judith worked at Stanbic bank as the Team Lead International Trade and previously as an Operations Officer. Judith was a champion during system change over and bank process automation at Stanbic Bank which led to reduced turnaround processing of customer instructions and also reduced fraudulent transactions worth over Kshs. 100 Million. With the knowledge acquired from the automation process, she spearheaded automation of bank reconciliations at the Authority thus improving turnover time from monthly to daily. Judith is a Certified Information Security Management System (ISO/IEC 27000:2013) auditor, Quality Management systems (ISO 9000:2015) auditor and Risk Management Champion. She served as a Credit Member before being nominated as the Treasurer to the Board in 2023
